Raw Chestnut Honey is among the least sweet varieties, boasting gently sour and bitter notes. The tree species that yields this precious nectar is Castanea sativa Mill, the same tree from which we can also harvest chestnuts. Every jar of Chestnut honey tells a story about the place it came from and the beekeeper that harvested it.
